Ofarrell Safeguarding was founded by Kevin O’Farrell in 2014.

Kevin has over 20 years experience in managing Child Protection and Safeguarding Services both at county and regional level in Ireland.
In addition he was a practicing social worker and team manager in the UK , within a voluntary funded agency and statutory settings prior to working in Ireland.

He has experience of developing both operational and strategic policies within the child care framework.
Academically Kevin holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Healthcare Policy and Management and also social work management , as well as his initial degree and Professional Qualification In Social Work.He retains his CORU registration as a social worker.

Ofarrellsafeguarding also has access to expertise from the nursing and disability sectors. The additional expertise also provides ofarrellsafeguarding with significant research capacity to offer to  projects.
