ofarrellsafeguarding offers a comprehensive response to the issues raised in the process of protecting vulnerable children and vulnerable adults. It is primarily a response that focuses on agencies themselves, both statutory and funded, and the challenges they face in keeping children and vulnerable adults safe.
Services offered can range from an independent audit of existing Safeguarding Practices to developing operational Safeguarding policies or delivery of appropriate child protection/Safeguarding Training.
It is recognised that National Standards and Guidelines are in place in respect of Safeguarding, Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse developed by the Health Service Executive, but that compliance and preparation for inspection may pose significant difficulties for some delivery systems. Our Service can help with that by carrying out an internal independent audit of the status of an agency’s Safeguarding systems and producing a status report with an action plan to ensure compliance.
